Ram Raksha Stotram is a sacred Sanskrit hymn dedicated to Lord Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, known as Purushottam (the Supreme Being). Lord Ram symbolizes truth, righteousness, courage, and ideal virtues. The Stotram is recited to seek divine protection and blessings.
The meaning of Ram Raksha Stotram is “Protection granted by Lord Ram.” It is a powerful spiritual practice to remove negativity, clear stagnant energy, and invite positivity, prosperity, and harmony into life.
The Puja is performed during a Shubh Muhurta by experienced priests. The essential practice includes reciting the Ram Raksha Stotram 108 times and chanting Lord Ram mantras such as:
Pandit Ji takes Sankalp mentioning the devotee’s name, father’s name, and Gotra. The priest performs Homam (Havan) with proper Puja Samagri and concludes the ritual with Sankalp Purti for completion.
