Puja Booking Will Close In :
According to Vedic Astrology, the planet Mercury or Budh is considered the planet of communication, intelligence, speech, and writing ability. It is also recognized as the natural promoter of speech and business. The astrologers assess the position of the planet Mercury in the native’s birth chart to evaluate the business, communication, and education. However, if this planet is weak, debilitated or afflicted in the natal chart of the individual, then it poses many obstacles, hurdles, and challenges in their lives. Thus, to overcome these hurdles and navigate the problems with ease and confidence, it is required to perform the Budh Puja.
Mercury or Budh, when placed in amalgamation with any malefic planet in the birth chart, then it leads to the formation of “Dosha” or defect. For example, Budh Dosha in the horoscope leads the individual to suffer from skin-related problems, trouble with speech, and obstacles in education. Thus, performing Budh Puja can lead to gaining the divine blessings and removing the ill-effects of the Budh Dosha.
When to Perform Budh Puja?
Perform the self-practice or meditate to refine your inner soul. On the Puja Day, in the morning, after taking a bath, light a Ghee lamp, and worship the deity to let them accept your prayers. If possible, observe the fast; and if it is not possible, then at least have the Sattvik meals and avoid onion, garlic, or any tamasic food. Seek blessings from the deity for a prosperous, harmonious, and fulfilling life.
Considering the Vedic Astrology, the Budh Puja can be performed in a day, but the process can be completed in different steps and stages. The most essential requirement is to chant Budh mantras such as “ॐ ब्रां ब्रीं ब्रौं सः बुधाय नमः" or any other as per the requirement of the individual’s Horoscope. The experienced and the expert Pandit Ji takes the oath in the “Shubh Muhurta” before the idols and recites the Budh Mantras along with his fellow priests, citing the individual’s name, their father’s name, and their Gotra.
The other details required are the individual’s wish or Sankalpa from this Puja, and any other additional information. The priest will take all the details and start worshiping, considering the individual’s Sankalp. They will perform Budh Homam (Havan) with the Puja Samagri or materials. At the end of the Puja, Pandit Ji will follow the process of “Sankalp Purti,” leading to the Puja completion.
