Perform the self-practice or meditate to refine your inner soul. On the Puja Day, in the morning, after taking a bath, light a Ghee lamp, and worship the deity to let them accept your prayers. If possible, observe the fast; and if it is not possible, then at least have the Sattvik meals and avoid onion, garlic, or any tamasic food. Shani Puja Vidhi and Rituals

Considering the Vedic Astrology, the Shani Puja can be performed in a day, but the process can be completed in different stages. The most essential requirement is to chant Shani mantras such as “ॐ शं शनैश्चराय नमः" or any other as per the requirement of the individual’s Horoscope. The experienced and the expert Pandit Ji takes the oath in the “Shubh Muhurta” before the idols and recites the Shani Mantras along with his fellow priests, citing the individual’s name, their father’s name, and their Gotra.

The other details required are the individual’s wish or Sankalpa from this Puja, and any other additional information. The priest will take all the details and start worshiping, considering the individual’s Sankalp. They will perform Shani Homam (Havan) with the Ghee, Honey, Sugar, Sandalwood powder, Sesame, and other Puja samagri or materials. At the end of the Puja, Pandit Ji will follow the process of “Sankalp Purti,” leading to the Puja completion.
